The entrance to Padanaram Harbor (Apponagansett Bay) is marked with a Red, 4 second flasher at the end of a breakwater at Ricketson's Point. The breakwater light is equipped with triangle-shaped reflective day marks. There's a 17-foot draft right up to the breakwater, and the passage into Padanaram Harbor is quite simple to navigate as long as you follow the markers. There's plenty of water in the channel right up to South Wharf and the New Bedford Yacht Club.
